It was boom time for the mining sector. WesTrac CAT had just put the last lick of yellow and black paint on their enormous Newcastle manufacturing facility. It was time to recruit on a massive scale. We traveled far and wide depicting the WesTrac dream. We told beautiful stories of men, women and machines. Sadly just as these heart warming stories hit screens big and small, China stopped buying iron ore. Coal and iron ore industry goes into a rapid decline. Thankfully we got a glimpse into the breathtaking world of large scale mining and the machines that drive it.
